Listening to or reading a new genre.

How do you decide on which book to read? I think before I was a member of goodreads or discussed books with my friend, Jenny, I was very good at sticking to one particular type of book.

I never knew which other books to try and was a little bit nervous about trying a new book...I didn’t want to invest so much time reading something I may not ultimately like. What a waste?

Jenny bought me a rather useful poster for my 40th birthday. It’s a poster of Top 100 Books to scratch off once read. This challenged me to read books that I would never have tried, it’s opened up a massive opportunity for me to enter worlds that I would never have explored.
